Christmas Card photo

And we have now finished swimming lesson for the year. In October Kaitlyn was not going to go back but we persisted and she is now able to swim unaided for about 2 meters with head under water the whole time. So very proud. She is also just learning to do arm stroke. Very cool.

THis year i wanted to include a photo of us all for our christmas cards, but that didn't happen no one wanted there picture taken. So we have ended up with a montage of photos from the year.

The first is from daycare great job they did, the last two that include simon and i are from a fishing trip, the top middle is from the Young Divas concert the other week where we are showing off our tatoo and last is one of our fav past times playing with my little ponies.

Where has the time gone.....

I can not believe how fast the last month has gone. We have had so much on that it has all passed in a blur. Simon has done his back again so we have had nearly 3 to 4 weeks of limited activities. This time we know what it is....a buldging disc. This is fixed by time and a little bit of chrio and massage. Kaitlyn has been helping her father with his excerises and they are being done twice a day.

Kaitlyn has been very busy, i'm sure that she is bored with home and daycare so thats a sign that she's ready for school, or maybe my paiance is wearing thin. Not long now. This picture was taken in September and it is so much her.

I have also been busy. I moved around a few things here at home and have set up rooms for each of us. I have nearly got them all finished but some things will take some more time. I have also been spending some time scrappin and doing photo work. This week i was told by Doctor to relax more and not be so anxious. So my motto for now is chill. Easier said then done. Blood pressure was far to high 137/100 not good. But by the time i as ready to leave it was down to a good level.
hope to catch up more soon...as you can see they have been both doing the back excerises.

Happy Belated Father's Day to my Hubby. I was hoping to have this finished to give to him but of cource it was not ready. Also i love the layout so much that i have decided to keep it and make it a focal point in the new room. Yes, we are doing some spring cleaning and we are moving a few things round and i'm going to set up a scrap room all permant. So the next few months will be really busy with that and some family time. I would love to share some more layouts but nearly all of them lately they have been from class and it would'nt be fair to take credit for them.

Also had to share this tiny little plait on my darlings head. It is so tiny and she just looks so much older. Since this photo her hair has grown a bit and we now get a thicker plait with the same length. Over the last few weeks i have seen her change so much, at the moment she is always saying that "Mummy, I can do it I'm getting to be bigger now." Very Scary. In just over a month I go to her school and organise uniforms and stuff.

Take Care and we will keep you posted

Busy Busy

We have been so busy lately that we havn't even had time to sit still. Every day is going so quick. Simon is enjoying his new position at the council and Kaitlyn has been busy with learning new skills like writing and expanding her love of books. I will try to up date a bit better in the next day or two but for now here's one of Kaitlyn's latest drawings and as you can see her father is wearing his glasses again, it also looks like we have lost that extra weight that we have been working hard at getting rid off. Take care and love to you all.

Well i can't believe a month has passed since our last post. We have all been busy with our own projects and the like. Simon has started a new postion at the council and seems to enjoy it. Kaitlyn has really grown up lately and is showing the good person she is going to grow up to be. She is really getting to enjoy every thing that offered to her and her new favorite activty is a trip to the libary once a week for story time and book borrowing. We as a family have been trying to spend as much time as we can together doing things or just playing together , which has given me plenty of photos. So now my scrap mojo is back and i will be creating many layouts soon. Here are some quick digi ones that i did today.

My Baby Turns 4

I can't believe it but Kaitlyn is already 4. Time has gone so fast. She has had a wonderful birthday. Last night her cousin had a sleep over and they were really well behaved. Today she spent the morning with daddy and had a special lunch at Mc Donalds which is very rare now a days. And this arvo we had a little bit of yummy party food and a BBQ dinner with our family. Everybody was here this year and we thank you all for comming and for the loverly presents.. I hope Kaitlyn will do a fasion parade in the new clothes and let me take picks as i have some new chipboard shapes that will look great with it the photos on a layout. She loves all of the new things and wanted to keep playing but at 8:20pm she crashed, but she was clutching some dora fish cards and a piece of chalk, but before she crashed a new dolly had found it's way into her bed and was all tucked in nicely, the new leap pad is packed away in it's case after she just had to have one last go before bed and we have had a good renditions of Stop in the Name of Love on the mic. Good night to you all....i'm off to bed off to the scrapbook expo tomorrow

My sister had a slight mishap on her honeymoon and fractured a bone in her foot...Love you Bec...... Simon's Mum and Dad had a weekend away visiting family and they brought Kaitlyn back a signed picture from Simon Burke, she was very excited and over the moon, he's her favorite from play school, We had a pleasent mother's day with lunch for our mum's and my grandma. I have been rearanging things in the scrap area and i'm hoping that when it's finished i will have said scrap mojo back.......thats all for now must go and get dinner ready.

It feels so long since i have posted but it's only a week......i've lost my scrap mojo and it seems everything else has gone with it. I'm not in the mood for any thing. Simon went back to work today and came home full of ideas and lots of mojo. Lucky him. Here a few layouts that were done a few weeks ago. Not all Kaitlyn, some of me too. I hope to do more of me and more of heritage ones. I've got a few projects going so some results should be seen soon.

Oh no not this

Well I have had a great week off work, plenty of rest and fun with my family. I don't know when I will have some more time off but that dosen't matter. This week we went for a run up to Teewah Beach for a fish and play. Kaitlyn loved it, she just played in the water and made her own fun. She's so good at making her own entertainment. She also learned how to take pippies out of there shells......she thought that they tasted great. This weekend i've got one layout to do for the scrappapple challenge, many ideas in my head, but none on paper. I have to scan some layouts tonight so they should be up in the next couple of days.
Have a great day.....

Barra Heaven

Here they are the barra's that the boss caught this week......Ya Hoo

And it's all over

Yesterday my little sister married her prince charming. It was such a good day the weather stayed fine with overcast patches which was really good for the photos.it just started to rain at about 1pm just as they left the reception. I never had my camera at the cermony so i will just have to wait and see what other photos are out there. She wore a special necklace with a cross on it from Grandma B who had been given it by her daughter. The family cross pin from my mum's side which mum is placing on her here. We were up at 5am to great the hairdresser and make up lady as the wedding was at 8:45am. It went so quick and in no time at all it was over......My Kaitlyn even got up extra early so that she would not miss out......i don't have any picks of her in the dress but mum will.... my little Rio made a great wedding car.

So tired tonight after making treats for the party the last couple of days and also helping Simon get ready for his trip away to Awonga this week.....he just rang and has caught a 102cm Barra......Yeh for you honey. These pictures say it all. We had groom popperts that you had to knock down.....toilet paper brides....it was lingerie as gifts, so lots of nice things....and my lovely cake that was like a cup of coffee. Just a lovely day all round. Thank you Annette for the decorations, and Lindy for the games.

End of Another Day

A couple of weeks ago Kaitlyn and Pop were doing some guided Ti Chi. They are now very relaxed. Both are looking forward to another session.

Well all's going well here. Everybody is happy and well. Mum looked after Kaitlyn today while i did and extra shift at work. THANK YOU MUM. This weekend with Easter is going to be great. Simon and i both have time off so it will be a real good break before the wedding next week. Can you believe that it is finally here. Only 9 more sleeps. My sister is going to make the most beautiful bride and David will be a stunning groom. Good Luck and warmest wishes to you both. Here they are less then 3 months ago, not a care in the world.
